TLDR: El Capitan fresh install, Windows 10 fresh install (1TB HDD split 50/50) via Boot Camp 6.0. Windows runs fine until I run Windows Update. After Windows Update, one of the updates causes Windows to randomly reboot and won't boot up without a system restore.
So it won't install. I'm stuck with 10.6.2. Now I know I can go to Apple's site and download the combo update, but where are the files that software update downloads located? I want to delete the corrupted file, and have software update download it again, and install it. So in short, where are the files that software update downloads located?
I have an iMac 14,1 (iMac 21.5-inch, Late 2013) that I am trying to install Windows 10 via Boot Camp.

Manual Update Avira
I cleared all partitions and reinstalled a complete clean install of El Capitan. After the clean install, I checked for software updates and installed the only update available (Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update).
After the update, I created a Boot Camp 6.0 Windows 10 bootable USB drive using Boot Camp Assistant, split the 1TB HDD (500GB for OS X, 500GB for Windows), and installed Windows 10.
I ran the Boot Camp 6.0 installer once Windows 10 booted up for the first time which suggests a reboot which I did. After Windows 10 boots back up, I installed all updates in Windows Update.
During the Windows updates, the iMac randomly reboots (around 60% of the total Windows Update install process). After this random reboot, Windows does not boot without doing a system restore. After doing a system restore, Windows boots up, but the iMac will randomly reboot after about 2-3 minutes no matter what.
After looking into this problem, I came across this thread that sounded similar. I followed the advice on that thread by deleting the AppleSSD64 folder and still had the same problem.
Unfortunately, the problem with Windows Update on Windows 10, as opposed to Windows 7, is I cannot install the updates one by one to see which update is causing this to happen.
I would be extremely happy if anyone has any experience with this happening and has a possibly solution I could try.
edit 1: After staring at the Windows Update screen while installing updates, the iMac crashes during the Intel video driver update. To work around this, I disabled the Windows Update service and then downloaded and installed the latest Intel graphics driver from Intel's site. The update installed fine. Rebooting now to run Windows Update again. Mac os 10.2.8 manual downloads.

edit 2: I installed the latest Intel Graphics Driver manually through Device Manager, rebooted, Windows Update wanted to install an Intel Graphics Driver again, I let it update and then the computer crashes again.

edit 3: For anyone running into this problem, check out /u/ICEman_c81's solution below. If that solution doesn't work for you like it worked for me, give /u/jekku0966's suggestion a shot. I wasn't able to get around to trying his suggestion.
edit 4: Somehow, I got it to the point that Windows Update said no more updates available, everything is good to go. In hindsight, I'm an idiot for doing this, but I thought 'Now that I know the solution, I'm going to do a clean install'. I reinstalled Windows 10, disabled the 'Device Installation Settings', ran Windows Update, and it still wants to install the Intel driver. This is what it did last time until I restarted, so I restart. Come back, it still wants to install the driver. I cancel the update, go to Intel's website to install the latest driver (15.40.10.64.4300) through Device Manager, reboot, check Windows Update, still wants to install a 'more up-to-date' driver. I cancel Windows Update again. So I went to Intel's driver page for the 'Intel Iris Pro Graphics 5200' again to check if there is even a more recent update that I'm not seeing. I see that there is a more up-to-date driver, but it's a beta. The beta driver is 'Beta 15.40.12.4326'. I'm thinking 'I'll give this one a shot and then see if Windows Update still wants to update the driver after this one'. Download the zip to the beta driver, install the driver through Device Manager, the computer fucking crashes, tries to reboot into Windows 10 but can't, and restores Windows from a previous state.
- Conclusion: Microsoft is pushing Beta drivers out through Windows Update which is killing the Windows 10 install.
